How does an EAS system work?
The pedestals at the entrance create a detection field. When an active security tag passes through it, the system raises an audible and visible alarm. At the till the tag is removed or deactivated.
Can I use my existing tags with new pedestals?
Only if they use the same technology. Tags and pedestals have to match, so tell us which system you have now before you order.
Do you supply spare tags and detachers?
Yes. We supply hard and adhesive security tags, ink tags and tag detachers, both for Sensormatic systems and as universal models.
